The RVM has always prided itself on not only it's high standards, but thorough recruiting process. It has directly contributed to the lasting history of the RVM, as well as it's professionalism. For this reason, we have the following recruiting requirements:

1) Between the age of 18 – 55 (Members who surpass 55 may remain active if they are still within good physical and mental condition).

2) No gender restriction

3) No convicted felonies or other criminal charges that would prevent you from owning/carrying a firearm or put your moral character within question.

4) Be of sound mental health

5) Have no existing physical or mental complications/injuries that would prevent you from participating in any training or an operational environment. (Group leadership holds the right to deny anyone from joining due to any of these concerns out of the safety for the individuals and existing members.)

The recruiting process takes place in three phases:

1) "Meet & Greet": This phase entails representatives of the RVM meeting the potential recruit for something casual, like a lunch or dinner, in order to better know and understand them and their character.

2) Probation: Once the first step is complete, the recruit is invited to an event. Once they have attended their first event, they are now considered "on probation" until they have attended a total of (3) events within (60) days.

3) Member: Once the recruit has completed their required (3) events, they become full time RVM members and are assigned a unit and select a job/position.
